Ektha completed her master's degree from the United Arab Emirates University, Al Ain, in 2024; and she holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from University of Kerala, India (2022). With clinical experience across both public and private hospitals in the UAE, including Tawam Hospital and Al Ain Hospital, she is familiar with the cultural context of the region and works effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds. She believes that therapy is a collaborative journey, grounded in empathetic care and compassionate understanding.

She supports individuals presenting with a wide range of mental health concerns, including mood disorders such as depression and bipolar disorder; anxiety disorders including generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, social anxiety, and specific phobias; obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD); personality disorders; adjustment-related difficulties; exam stress; stress and burnout; anger management difficulties; grief and bereavement-related concerns; and sleep difficulties including insomnia.

Ektha conducts comprehensive psychological and psychometric assessments for adults, including intelligence testing, personality assessment, neuropsychological assessment, and evaluation of emotional and psychological functioning. For children and adolescents, she provides assessment of cognitive (intelligence) and adaptive functioning, screening for neurodevelopmental disorders including Autism Spectrum Disorder and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and evaluation of academic performance and learning difficulties.

Ektha provides evidence-based psychological interventions through an integrative therapeutic approach. She is trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based interventions, relaxation techniques, and positive psychology interventions. She also provides family therapy and parent-skills training when clinically indicated, tailoring interventions based on the individual and family’s needs.
