Profile Description Dr Laiju Abdulla is an accomplished Dentist and Implantologist with over 20 years of experience in UK and the UAE. She is an expert in comprehensive check-ups and diagnosis of paediatric & adult preventive dentistry, complex restorative treatments, cosmetic dentistry and dental implants. She is known for her gentle touch with patients. She is committed to patient education and delivering high standard of care to her patients.

She graduated as a university rank holder and Colgate Palmolive award winner from Calicut Dental College, India in 1999. After moving to UK in 2000, she worked at various NHS hospitals in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery and Kings College Dental Institute Paediatric Dentistry dept. She underwent her postgraduate education and training in Prosthodontics at University of Manchester. She practiced as a General Dentist and Prosthodontist in Bank Practice in Prestwich, Manchester, before moving to Dubai.

While in Dubai, she worked for DHA, Mediclinic Arabian Ranches and Symbiosis Medical Centre before joining NMC group. She underwent further training in Cosmetic dentistry and Implantology and was awarded Clinical Masters in Aesthetic & Restorative dentistry by University of Pacific and is a fellow of International College of Implantology of Canada.

She is also founder of La Dent Studio, an advanced dental centre at Starcare Hospital in Calicut, India where she handles various specialised and cosmetic dental work including facial aesthetics and craniofacial surgery in association with fellow maxillofacial surgeons.
