Dr. Hagar has more than 14 years of experience in both general and aesthetic dermatology.

Dr. Hagar obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBCh) with Excellent with Honour from the Faculty of Medicine, Zagazig University, Egypt, in 2006. She then pursued postgraduate training in Dermatology & Venerology at Zagazig University, earning a Master of Science in Dermatology & Venerology in 2011. In 2017, Dr Hagar was awarded a Doctorate Degree in Dermatology & Venerology as Joint supervision between University of Modena and Reggio Emilia/ La Sapienza, Rome, Italy and Zagazig University, Egypt.

Dr. Hagar had completed Doctorate in university hospital serving both outpatient and inpatients and she served as Associate professor of Dermatology, Dermatology & Venerology department, Zagazig University, Egypt. Dr Hagar has a major experience in Italy and has worked in Rome La Sapienza and Modena universities. She is an author and reviewer of multiple scientific articles about different skin diseases in world high ranked journals, and a speaker with many oral presentations in national and international conferences.

Prior to joining HealthPlus Diabetes and Endocrinology Center, Dr Hagar worked as a Consultant Dermatologist, at Reem Hospital, UAE.

Dr Hagar’s scope of practice includes all aspects of Dermatological diseases including assessment and full examination of cases, diagnosis of skin allergy, infectious diseases, mole mapping and skin biopsies for various skin conditions, treatment of all dermatological diseases with most advanced therapies, all cosmetic procedures: Botox, Filler injections, Mesotherapy, chemical peels and acne scar treatment, PRP, dermapen, Cautery, phototherapy, and laser, dermoscopy and trichoscopy for hair problems and treatment of hair conditions.
