Dr. Hend Khalil is a Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Al Zahia branch of Medcare Medical Centre. She completed her MBBCh and then her MSc in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from Zagazig University. She holds a Professional Diploma in Aesthetic Gynaecology for female sexual dysfunction from the American Association for Continuous Education.

Dr. Khalil is a senior Obstetrics & Gynaecology Specialist with more than two decades of experience, having worked in Egypt, the Kindom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. After being certified as an OBS & GYN Consultant by the Ministry of Health, Egypt, she moved to Saudi Arabia to work at the King Abdel Aziz Hospital and Oncology Centre as a Senior OBS & GYN Specialist. Subsequently, she moved to UAE to join Khorfican Hospital as a Senior OBS & GYN Specialist and then joined Zuleikha Hospital, Sharjah.

Dr. Khalil’s expertise ranges from managing all low and high-risk pregnancies to the treatment of all diseases related to female reproductive organs. This translates to the care and treatment of women during the prenatal, natal and post-natal period, performing surgical procedures to preserve the patient’s health and deliver babies safely, and infertility and contraceptive management. Having undergone courses in hysteroscopy, colposcopy, 3D and 4D ultrasound, and Laser and Hifu treatment for female sexual dysfunction, she is extremely knowledgeable and skilled at her work. She is an expert in vaginal repair and tightening, manages all gynaecological problems in children and adolescents and is proficient in treating infertility with PCO, and recurrent abortions. She has treated patients with abnormal cervical smears, endometritis, cervicitis, endometrial hyperplasia, ectopic pregnancy, vaginal infections and dysmenorrhea. She also screens patients for cancer of the cervix and counsels them on contraception.
